Thank you, Den! You know I consider you my friend, too.

By the way, it seems not only is your one year anniversary of treatment around the corner, but so is your 1k post milestone. May I be the first to congratulate you (in case I forget-that halfsheimer kicks in a lot lately). Your caring and kindness has never faltered in all the time I've seen you on the site. You are a pleasure to know. Thank you for all you have done and still do to help so many others.

Every time I check in I find laughter
that sends me as high as a rafter
from hoseheads like me
who chatter with glee
and smile at what just might come after.

Oh gosh - it's time for bed!

Thanks for the chuckles guys.

Ken

OK, there, old NightHawkeye Bill.
I just know you "hose up" for the thrill
You'll huff and you'll puff
But you're sure to get enough
with that Bi-PAP and Swift, you'll stay rested still

Aww . . ., Thanks, Den. .

Funny, I never cared much for poetry and rhymes until I started reading Dr. Seuss to my girls. Best literature in the world.

Regards,
Bill

Lori,

Actually, the anniversary of when I started my "new way of nightly breathing", was this last Sunday. I finally joined the forum on July 7th, after reading for a couple of months. There's also a small story about that, too. I waited until I could be member number 1948, which was also the year I was born.
Superstitious?.....ME?.....Nah!

Another side note: For a number of months after that, I (roughly) calculated that there were about seven members joining per day. I think the "spammers" kind of screwed up those numbers, but I'll bet it's still pretty close (or more) if they could be taken out of the gross total.

Best wishes,

Den

Wulfman Den, so kind and wise
Like us hosed up
Beneath night skies
Penned a little hosehead wit
And we all feel better because of it.

Caroline.........you really don't want to know...........(do you?) Actually, about 2or 3 minutes........just like any of the stuff that pops into my head......it just happens, just like my jewelry designs do. I've been told I have a fertile imagination.......you know......full of s**t!

Den,

Then I guess belated congrats are in order. And LOL!!! about waiting to be #1948 to sign up. You are too much. I'm just glad you decided to become a member; otherwise, I would never have had the pleasure.

Be well...

There once was a man from Nantucket
whose hose in his cpap he stuck it.
He then tried to sleep
and breathed free and deep
Now nightly in bed he does tuck it.

Our "Hero of the Hour" is Kathleen
With her DME she made quite a scene
She goes by the nick "Offerrocker"
But here's the really neat shocker
She told the gal to "SHOVE IT....I'm gettin' a NEW machine!".
