encore pro: can i set certain options on my machine

can i set with encore pro the option to turn off those blasted backlites on the buttons, they light up the whole room... right now i use a wash cloth to cover them, but would be great if they just stayed off

within the clinical menu you can turn off the lights when the machine is running (have mine off) but the lights are on when the machine is off

not sure you can do it with encore pro

I have the auto Bipap by Respironics. My lights are on or off. No choice other
than that. I asked the DME supervisor and that was it.

I also put something across the top to "soften" the beacon like likes. My
69 Camaro didn't have headlights that bright.

One person sent a PM, saying they put finger nail polish on the buttons. Not
the entire button, but ...I guess...a large enough area to reduce the offending
light.

I may try tape to see if it helps. I really don't want to turn mine off, just down
to a tiny glow.
