I just wanted to thank everyone who contributes to cpaptalk.com. I just started cpap last week and it's been a struggle. I expect to have weeks if not months to go in getting adjusted (and dealing with the DME and doctor to try to get the right mask, settings, etc.). Being your own advocate is not easy amidst the "Bermuda triangle" of patient/DME/doctor, particularly when you are sleep deprived and dealing with discouragement from the diagnosis and the adjustment to a machine. To find an online community where people can be so helpful and informative and encouraging is wonderful. I am deeply grateful, and offer a deep bow to all of you who contribute to this community, especially those who host/manage the site and the regulars.
At some point I may join the fray and bother you all with questions or requests for advice. But I just wanted to say thanks even as I spend time "looking over your shoulder" and simply reading the posts and questions and answers of others. Thanks!
A Spankin' Brand New Newbie's Thanks

I like the way this forum is arranged (like a party), the threads are like little discussion groups
that pop up at random, and flow off the page as interest diminishes.
The search box at the upper left allows you to seek answers to specific issues.
If you need to use more than two words, use the search on your browser.
As long as you include a reference to cpap, it usually bounces you right back here.

I just wanted to thank everyone again. This is a very supportive place to come to just for a shot in the arm, let alone information. I'll be recommending this to anyone I come across who is on cpap....
