When I download data from my SD card every morning to EB and SH, EB captions data from last night's sleep session with the current day's date. SH on the other hand captions the same data with yesterday's date. Since I never go to sleep until after midnight, technically EB is accurate in my case and SH is not.
But is there a way to get them both on the same page date-wise? EB doesn't appear to have any way to change the parameters, but SH does. SH is currently set at what I'm sure is the default, split time = 12:00 pm. If I change that to 12:00 am will that do the trick?
If so, will SH re-caption all previous data retroactively? And what happens if I should go to sleep before midnight, would SH then only show data for that part of the night beyond midnight? Likewise in EB if I retired before midnight what data would be shown?
I have to admit this is making me drool a bit!
Can I get SleepyHead and Encore Basic on the same schedule?

Re: Can I get SleepyHead and Encore Basic on the same schedule?
Hi dude. Be sure the date and current time in your xpap machine is set correctly including am/pm. Wait two days before transferring data again from your SD card to your sleep software. That fixed the problem for me. I use SH and ResMed's ResScan.
Like you, I often don't turn in until well after midnight and sometimes sleep past noon. So, in SH, I changed the sleep session end time from noon to 6:00pm to avoid graphically breaking up my sleeps at noon and changing the date of the after-noon hours of sleep to the next day. I can't do that in ResScan because it doesn't yet have that flexibility. So I use both software and don't expect my graphs and figures to always be the same when I compare the two.

Re: Can I get SleepyHead and Encore Basic on the same schedule?
Unfortunately, Old dude is using a PR System One machine. The clock is completely inaccessible---even from the clinical menu.Papit wrote:Hi dude. Be sure the date and current time in your xpap machine is set correctly including am/pm.
The problem that old dude is noticing is a software issue. It's not even a software bug; it's nothing more than a difference in how two different pieces of software report the same set of data.
Old dude:
Is the (correct) "date" you are talking about in Encore is the date on the top of the Detailed Data page? That date is tied to the exact time the machine was turned on. So if you go to bed at 11:59 on August 22, 2013, then the date and time on the top of the Detailed Data page will read 8/22/2013 11:59 PM. But if you don't turn the machine on until 12:01 on August 23, 2013, then the date and time at the top of the Detailed Data page will read 8/23/2013 12:01 AM. That's because the date is really part of a time stamp---it indicates what time the t=0 on the Detailed Data graphs corresponds to.
But if you look the SUMMARY data pages in Encore and the Patterns of Use page of data, the data for the night will be labeled 8/22/2013 regardless of whether you turned the machine on at 11:59 PM on 8/22 or 12:01 AM on 8/23. Because the Summary data and the Patterns of Use data is using the label 8/22/2013 for all the data recorded during the 24-hour period from NOON on 8/22/2013 to NOON on 8/23/2013.
Sleepy Head's calendar follows the pattern of the Summary data pages and the Patterns of Use pages in Encore: The date in the calendar refers to the calendar date of the beginning of the 24-hour recording period. By default, SH uses a NOON to NOON window. So clicking on the date 8/22/2013 brings up all the data recorded from NOON 8/22/2013 to NOON 8/23/2013.
But after clicking on 8/22/2013, if you look at the data in the left side bar of the SH window you will see a line that says:
- Date Sleep Wake Time
- If you turned the machine on at 11:59 on 8/22, the Date data will say 8/22 and the Sleep data will say 11:59 or 23:59, depending on whether you have SH set up to use a 24 hour clock or a 12 hour clock.
- If you turned the machine on at 12:01 on 8/22, the Date data will say 8/23 and the Sleep data will say 00:01.

Thanks very much, that's more than I hoped to find out!
