Thanks, Papman!

Because I have recurrent leaks with Swift FX, changing pillows constantly, and because CPAP just doesn't help anymore with daytime drowsiness, I got a SWIFT LT from Papman at a very good price, with quick shipping. Since we are in the middle of a move, I haven't yet tried it, but next time the FX leaks I'll try it.

I am tired all the time, want to feel more alert during day! I am not very good at deciphering ResScan or Sleepyhead, but looks to me like my pressure needs to go up, so I am considering increasing it. Think I am currently on APAP between 6 and 10, usually stay around 9-10 according to my read of the software. After the move, I plan to jack up the pressure to 8 to 12 and see what happens. Is this a good idea? I can't tell my Dr or he will want another sleep study, and I just can't afford another big expense this year, haven't met my deductible yet this year. I have been on APAP since Feb 2011, felt good/awake at about 6 months in, but mostly tired since last few months.
Thanks for any advice!

If you want an opinion on whether to raise your pressure you might consider posting the data you're seeing. Otherwise what would the opinion really mean to you?

Off Topic, what sort of coding queen are you? Software? Medical Insurance? (I guess the former, but kind of like my first point, it's just a guess as I have little to go on)

Codinqueen - You should really post your question about your pressure in a different thread with a different title. It is going to be missed here with a thread title like this.

Codinqueen,
I am very pleased that you were happy with my prompt shipping methods (I love FedEx) and I am also very happy that I was able to help you in this time of chaos of moving., I know it is a pain in the butt. I want to extend even more help to you so how about this? Keep the Swift LT at NO CHARGE......consider it a gift! I like to do a few good deeds from time to time here for the forum members and I know how difficult it can be to find that right mask that does the job without breaking the bank. I just hope that the Swift LT really works for you. Please keep me updated once you do use it and let me know how it worked out for you. Thanks again and enjoy your new nasal pillow system.

I agree that it's impossible for us to make any judgement without seeing your sleep data. On the other hand, jumping your pressure up by 2cm seems a large-ish change to me. Without seeing your sleep data, I would (and have) raise it by .5cm and stay with that for a week and look at your sleep data as you go along. But that assumes that your sleep data supports that *smile*. Takes a little more patience, but you get a little more feel for things when you do that, and you'll see if centrals increase as a result of raising pressure where they start to increase.
