Ant inside S9 Elite ViewScreen: How to get it out?

Post by muchojo » Wed Aug 14, 2013 12:49 am

There is a small ant in the View Screen, how do I get it out?

Can it make it's way to the air blower?

I'm keeping my humidifier on to catch it in case it goes thru the blower.

Should I call my DME to take a look at my S9?

One inside that part of the machine can not make it into the blower. Without exiting somewhere to do it. However if bugs/ants are a problem where the machine is, I believe one on the exterior of the machine could make it's way through the filter opening and in to the blower. Generally ants are not alone in their travels so you may have a bigger issue to resolve.

I think it was a lonely scout, cause there are no other ants anywhere around that night stand.

A few weeks back there were ants because we left sweet drinks on a nearby dresser only but we killed them and no more trail. Plus have left newer sweet drinks again and no new ant trails have come back yet.

I don't see it anymore, maybe it left hungry having found nothing. Tapping the screen and no movement.

Thanks.

My Intellipap has a fine white hair between the display and the plastic cover.
I didn't notice it until the first morning after.

I once had a pt call for us (DME) to check her cpap machine. I went out and found a dead roach on her screen! LOL! Not much we could do...

Okay...but remember...you ask for it.
Warning...not for the folks that bugs bother them...you probably don't want to go here.

Your warning should have been in capital letters!

I was going to suggest asking Lazer ... But, he hasn't been around here much ...

I once found a fly in my humidifier tank ... I now have screens for the front side windows of my semi truck!

Phobias are weird and sneaky things,
I took a cute picture of a baby garter snake sunning itself on a branch of a boxwood shrub,
but until I showed my cute snapshot to my former cubicle-mate, I had no idea she had a phobia at all;
--much less one so intense. You just can't apologize enough when someone is that terrified.
