How can I change settings on my Resmed VPAP?

Post by Perlina » Sat Aug 10, 2013 8:47 pm

About 18 months ago I visited this site and found a link to a great video which showed me how to change pressure settings on my Resmed S9 VPAP machine. Can someone please point me to that link again? I can't locate it. I live a 5 hour drive from the University Sleep Center I use, which is in Nor Cal (I'm in So Cal), and only visit every 10 months. Something has changed and I want to work with the pressure settings. Any help will be appreciated!

I don't think there's a video specifically for VPAP, is this the video you saw earlier? It may be enough since it's for the S9 series machines:

Let us know if you also want the clinician manual for the VPAP

Yes, that might help if I could get that - thank you!

However, the video was excellent - a guy talking and demonstrating everything. Wish I'd saved it....
Anyone else have any ideas on this?

Did you watch the video I posted? It will show you how to access the clinical menu on the S9 machines including VPAP. Once inside the clinical menu the actual settings will be different for the different S9 machines, but the way into that menu is the same.

I've never seen a video specific to accessing the VPAP clinical menu.

You can get the manual for your VPAP from this website -- http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

you need to do some scrolling down the page to spot the right item. I obtained mine this way and had no problem with the process.
