So happy i went back to my old doc...RLS

Went back to my old primary doc today that I had before I moved. What a difference!

I had her try to read the prescription the other doc had written for CPAP. She LAUGHED and said she couldn't read it.

I told her how the doc wanted me to go back to the sleep lab, after being on CPAP only 3 weeks, to have my pressure and HUMIDITY adjusted..... to help with symptoms of restless leg syndrome(!), and she CRINGED.

My new (old) doc reviewed the sleep study, ordered serum ferritin tests, plus had my magnesium, calcium, etc levels checked, and told me to wait until those results come in before filling a script for .25 mgs of Mirapex. She will call me if the results indicate I need supplements. I am supposed to call her in 3 weeks or come in to follow up.

Love my old doc and glad i can still see her!

MORAL: Dont put up with crappy medical care. Trust your instincts!

I am so happy for you.

Yup, I learned after seeing dentist number two today how important it is to trust your instincts regarding getting bad care. I was very happy I did and saved myself alot of money.
