So, you've posted 5 times since you said you couldn't post sales ads anymore. Three of the posts were the same ad being bumped 2 more times so that it was on the front page 3 days in a row.

Can't you just post ONCE a week? No need to say what you have, just state that you have equipment available. But really, please limit the ads. You've been asked not to post them, and this forum is turning into the classified ads.

Better yet, make yourself a website where you can post everything you have for sale. Then post here by contributing to the actual topics being discussed and include your website in the sig section. Then you won't even need to post your ads, but people will still be able to see what you have for sale.

TO be honest, I don't see how this is a problem in any way and not a benefit - one of the main reasons i log on here is to see if there are any cpap supplies for sale. Yes, I can imagine how this could ruin the forum if it became overwhelmed with ads, but that hasn't been the case in any way and the spam button gives us a way to remove them if they become problematic.

Use of your SPAM button to delete posts not deemed spam by the site owners , will result in your spam button being removed without warning. I lost mine one time without knowing why, four of my dogs starved! Jim

But it wouldn't it be just as easy to check a website that was intended for posts of equipment for sale? Why does it have to be here, with multiple newbies every week, here just to sell their equipment, and people like papman posting 3 days in a row for the same ad?

How bad does it have to get before we realize there is a problem? People see ads being encouraged, so they join in with their ads too. I've only been here 15 months, but I have noticed it getting much worse in the last couple months.

Why not have a sticky post at the top with a link to another website that features used equipment for sale. Contain it there and then ban the sales posts in the regular area. People can still sell their stuff, but it won't be pushing down the actual discussion topics.

zoocrew.....you need to get a life....if it bothers you that much then do not read my posts....I have helped a lot of people on here and they are not complaining so I must be doing something right. I will continue to sell on here and help those who need it......plus I know it bothers people like you which is a bonus....

Personally, I am glad that you, JamesAllen, and others make people aware that you have items to sell at a discount and salute you all for helping out people who are hurting financially. But writing the above post is totally unnecessary.

49er I have kept quiet and done my good deeds for those who want the help. I have seen threads with my name involved and I stood by quiet not saying a word. What actions have I done in this forum to hurt anyone? Am I not allowed to defend myself and my reputation as a seller, forum member, friend and a person? I am getting fired upon once again....this time I am firing back...enough is enough!!!!

You have the right to defend yourself but the reason I was objecting to the previous post was that it came across as very childish even if that wasn't your intention. It was like you were deliberately picking a fight.

49er is was in defense to a certain person or persons who have continually brought up my name directly or indirectly....Yes a bit childish sounding but when you have so many people making it their personal business to talk crap, I feel that I am well within my right to say what I like as well. It is no different than the quiet nerdy kid at school taking abuse from a bully and then finally sticking up for his or herself....a person can only take so much until they blow up.
