O/T Raspberry keytone drops to lose weight
O/T Raspberry keytone drops to lose weight
Morning
I was wondering if anyone has tried these Raspberry keytone drops? My daughter came hope with the info,...... but you know me... if it sounds to good to be true.. it usually is I need to lose about 30 pounds and if this works I would try it. I don't drink soda, but my downfall is ice cream, a friend opened an ice cream shop and her ice cream is to die for......if I eat much more.. I will die .... I know.. get off my fat ass and get out walking while the weather is nice. Apparently Dr Oz recommends raspberry keytone drops, but I don't believe everything he says.. I think he makes more money from the products he pushes than his tv show
Thanks
Nan

Nan, the more calories that go in, the more weight you put on. You know that of course, but sometimes I need to remind myself that there are no magic bullets. Raspberries have recently been found to be great antioxidants with few calories and what seemed to be weight control effects, but later studies showed that unless you process the berries a certain way chemically (not a DIY project and not something available by name), and unless they're not imported (or maybe unless they are - can't remember!) then the effect is miniscule at best. They're obviously going to be good for you vs pasta and ice cream, but it's all kinda relative and common sense must prevail.

Drops have never helped anyone unless the drops drastically change the way your body works which means they would not be OTC.
One small ice cream should equal one hour of heavy duty exercise both cardio and weight lifting. But even then it depends on how your body processes sugar and fat.
ETA: Of course if you took them immediately after consuming the ice cream and they made you puke that would sort of work too. Unfortunately that would cause other problems.

Hey, I am willing to be a guinea pig. That's gotta be easier than drinking cherry juice every day (PITA to mix up) for pain.
I read up on the little goobers and nothing in it appears harmful and it might even help lower my LDL/HDL cholesterol thing just enough to get me back into normal range as I am 3 or 4 points over and cpap didn't fix that .
I gotta go to town anyway..might as well see if I can pick up something to help burn off that 1/2 peaches and cream scone I ate for breakfast this morning.. Had the other half last night.
Wonder if WallyWorld has them....going there anyway.
In all fairness...I don't expect anything but it can't hurt and I figure why not give it a try.
If nothing else the cost will deter me from buying another pastry. There's a new pastry place in the town near me...OMG such wonderful goodies all homemade and to die for good. I try to limit myself to one visit per week but it's hard.
If I get skinny in a week I will let you all know.

I don't know...I bet it would be really good.....the problem being I would eat all of them and not just one a week.nanwilson wrote:By the way I have a very old secret scotish recipe for scones.... want it
Unless I can make just one. I am the only one in my family who cares for scones. So I would have to eat them all so nothing goes to waste.
That's part of my problem...grew up being taught "don't waste food" "think of all those kids in China that are starving"...so I tend to clean my plate. Old habits are hard to break.
I am off to WallyWorld to see what kind of trouble I can get into.

Plus 1. I'd try it in a minute if I thought it would work. Minus 20 lbs. would be perfect.Janknitz wrote:Scam, scam, scam, scam.

If it does work , please report back! I'd spend every last dime and buy it up so no one else could have any.

Re: O/T Raspberry keytone drops to lose weight
Okay, back from WallyWorld and I got the best they had...well...the only bottle that they had.
Nature's Valley or something along those lines. Bottle of 60 was $4.88 so 60 days at 100 mg a day. 2 scones price. Won't break my bank.
I am sure I will be 5 lbs lighter by tomorrow morning.
Okay...so I won't but... I will give it a shot in the name of science. I need to find the damn scale and see if it is working still....I guess I need to actually weight myself too. That's going to be ugly.
I always put a few pounds on in the winter and take most of them off in the summer but the catch is "most"...every year the ones I don't lose in the summer start adding up more and more. I could stand to lose 20 lbs. I am only 4' 11" and every little extra ounce seems to show when there's no place to hide it.
I am not going to do anything other than take the capsule...so we can make sure that is what helped or not.
So I won't be adding anything extra to my routine or making any great changes to my diet by going down to something ridiculous like a 500 calorie diet.

Re: O/T Raspberry keytone drops to lose weight
I looked around the net a little, and I suspect that raspberry ketones (note spelling) might be of some use, but not a cure-all.
Of the valuable threads that have appeared on this fine site, some of the ones on diet and weight loss are the best.
Anyone who feels perhaps a bit "calorically gifted" and wants to shed some weight (or even just to tone up at the weight you are) has my total support. Supplements such as green coffee extract and raspberry ketones are fine, but the biggest of the major considerations is to limit carbohydrates (especially wheat and sugar, and high fructose fruit is sugar), limit fats (skip salad dressings for example) dressings and to get regular exercise. Lots of books exist on low carb diets, the "Zone Diet" books are one example of many good ones. (Not recommending one title over another.)
Consider talking to your doc first, then maybe give it a go.
Best of luck to you.

And if you don't at least your shadow will block the sun, and cut down on global warming. I wish you well but we both know what needs to be done to lose weight, we just can't or don't want to do it. JimPugsy wrote:![]()
