Yes. That does help Bill. I do use the Rescan software but was not familiar with "Sleepyhead." Are you able to import the info into the Rescan software vs Sleepyhead.wm_hess wrote:Hi Ted
Your profile states you have a S9 Autoset. If you use Sleepyhead (or ResScan) software, you can look and see each and every breath you took last night. You can see if your mask is delivering therapy, or is it leaking excessively. It shows when you have apneas, when you're having periods of snoring, and a lot more information than I understand. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this board who can help you understand what the data is telling you. It's not as accurate as a sleep study, but it is good.
When you use a pulse oximeter and have the time on both devices synced, you can see for example that at 2:30 you had low oxygen levels, but you were leaking badly and not receiving the proper therapy.
Having said how wonderful sleepyhead is, please also understand that it is BETA software. It's not perfect, but more like a work in progress. There may be issues sometimes where the information is confusing, or a glitch may cause the data to be skewed or corrupted. If you search this board for sleepyhead you'll find a lot more information than can be put in one message.
If you decide you'd like to try sleepyhead, it can be found here http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/
The issue I mentioned was that according to the Pulseoxstore, you cannot import the data from the newest version of the CMS-50F into Sleepyhead, so it may be more difficult to compare data. I do not have the newest version of the 50F, so I have zero experience with the current software.
Hope this helps!
