Glad to hear all went well.

Send me his schedule and I'll fire a signal flare across NJ at each
scheduled time. Different color for each type of drop.

Never mind your signals, how about showing up at 9AM, 1PM, 5PM and 10PM? You don't live that far away!

My husband had both eyes done a few years ago now. He had them done very close together and I remember well the overlapping of drops for each eye. Seemed like every time we turned around there were drops to be put in one eye or the other! I did all the drops because he can't seem to do that to himself. I'm not even sure he could do mine if I had cataract surgery!!

He wore the patch only and just at night for about a week as I recall, for each eye. He was done with the patch on one eye before he had the second one done.

My husband does not have sleep apnea so I am no help with the mask situation.

Pretty bad night! The Quattro FF interfered with the plastic shield, leaked and made him very uncomfortable so he took it off at 2:30, had lots of apneas so I put it on again at 4:30 until 6:30. The Dr really wants him to use his cpap for as many hrs as possible for at least 5 nights so I pulled out his Quattro FX which doesn't get near his eye but he never could use it because it kept riding up on his face. I found a piece of velcro that I'll try to put under his chin and fasten to both lower straps which might keep it in place. It will all be worth it if he can enjoy life better.

I'd volunteer a night if I were closer to you.

My son used to live in Westchester county just out of Manhattan.
If he were still there, that would be do-able.

I would be there if I could. You are just so sweet I would love to be able to just come by for a visit and help with the drops.

My son lives in upper Westchester County so it's still 2 1/2hrs to get down here. Thanks anyway, Stu.

I had both eyes done, pre CPAP, and the recovery is fast. I hope you find a good solution to tide you over and can go back to normal.

Edit: Upon reflection, I have moved other parts of my comment to a separate new topic.

Dori I have been grounded from the coffee pot more times than I can count. Everyone says I make it too strong. I would be happy to make you coffee and breakfast. I have never been grounded from cooking.

Mike had right eye done today and did well. The eye patch doesn't seem to interfere with the mask! The eye drops in both eyes are really fun! In 2 weeks he'll get a new RX just for reading glasses and then hopefully he can get back to his reading and puzzles again.
