Sleepweaver Anew
Re: Sleepweaver Anew
I ordered one from CPAP.com last week and am returning it today. Finding a mask that was both softframe and without a forehead brace sounded too good to be true, and for me it was. Too many high pressure leaks. But I applaud the company for thinking outside the box, hopefully a future product will work for me. The only mask I can use to date has been the Philips Respironics comfortgel.

Yea, sending mine back too. It leaks bad. Everywhere. It doesn't seal anywhere. It's like landing an LCAC on your face.

Ok, it has been over a month now and I have not seen anyone post that they have gotten the Anew and if it worked for them. Wondering if this mask is nearly as good as it sounds before I spring for $150 plus that it costs.
Re: Sleepweaver Anew
I have been attempting to use this mask for about a month now. The concept is great but the fit is not! I have tried interchanging headgear and all the tweeking I can think of. My husband was thrilled not to be blown away all night with my Res Med but then was very unhappy with the noises the leakages were making with the Sleep Weaver. It will be another 5 months before insurance will allow me to go back to my Res Med Quatto FX. Anew was initially very helpful but have not responded to my recent emails.
I am hoping that ANEW will be able to improve this product because I would be thrilled if I could stop the leaks. Maybe I just have an odd shaped h

I really liked the elan; maybe I have a pair of goggles that will work with it--trying it again soon.
Never did try the Anew . . . maybe someday. I still think it might be "the ONE".

Re: Sleepweaver Anew
I have the Sleepweaver Elan and absolutely love it. I ordered it online because my DME doesn't carry it. I would not want to be without it! I've been strongly considering ordering the Anew for the times I'm stuffed up and need a full face mask.
Re: Sleepweaver Anew
I have both but use the Élan as my nightly mask. It is a bit more leak prone with my new ASV machine witch bumps my pressure as high as 20 sometimes, where 12 was the max on my Resmed Autoset.
The Anew is on stand by for stuffy nose or ?? When nose berating won't work. I did use it for several weeks, but it irritated my upper lip just below the nose a bit.

Re: Sleepweaver Anew
I think I have finally found a solution! I have been able to use my Sleepweaver for the last few weeks with minimal problems. Someone mentioned it gets better with washing it. The more I wash it, the better the fit! I still wonder if the head gear configuration may be part of the problem. It is difficult and time consuming to adjust every night. I am glad to be able to use it as it is comfortable, no hurricane type winds coming out of it but still cannot stop the noise it makes.
