But they can.

That's what your Oriental rug is for.

Let's get honest here. If you were a dog and your butt itched would you rub it on the carpet? You might try to not get caught but you know it would feel better than dragging it in the grass.

Dogs let you poop in their favorite water bowl and they still love you.

No dogs are ever allowed in my house!

No shedding of hair, no dragging in animals and nothing on the rugs! Yechhh!
If dogs weren't allowed in my home, kids wouldn't be either, we had five kids, one dog, guess what caused less mess and trouble. Jim

It's really a delight when an OT thread makes us laugh instead of ranting about politics, or whatever.

I have to post on this topic:
We lived in a basement apartment when we were still newlyweds. Suni the cat (who looked like Morris the cat) came home one sunny day with a dead squirrel in his mouth.
We decided that this was his way in partaking of bringing home the baconhi

We are not cat people, but a cat who lived across the street from us took a shine to my daughter who was then a toddler. Every time we came out of our house with her the cat ran up to her for a pet, and it delighted my daughter.

Until. . .

The day the cat left her a present on our porch--a very neatly severed head of a squirrel.

I'll stick to dogs, thanks.

This thread has brought back many memories of previous family animals. A lovely trip down memory lane

Our Tom loves to catch mice. He eats all but the head, spleen and tail... Been trying to teach him to eat away from the back porch but he wants me to see his catch...
