Card Reader PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP w/ with A-Flex

Post by thegrons » Sun Jun 30, 2013 10:15 am

Hello;

I have a friend who has a
PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP Machine with A-Flex and doesn't know how to read the card? I gave him the software for the Rescan 3.11.009 but aparently the card on his machine is an SD card and he can't get it to work. Does anyone know how to read the data on this machine, know where to get a reader and software?

Thanks,

JOhn

Sleepyhead software is free and really good. You can google it for download. Any SD card reader can import the data from he card to the program.

Rescan is a ResMed program and does not work for PR machines. You need Encore Basic for the PR machines. Any SD card reader will work, many computers have them built in but if his does not they generally run around $15 at Best Buy or any other computer supply store.

Check your PM's!

Thanks! Do you know if the One REMstar Auto CPAP w/ with A-Flex will show data such as the number of apnea episodes and times of these?

Does show all data. Gives an average time for apneas rather than time ore each one.

Great, thanks! I know that without the ability to tweak my mask and settings I started after the sleep study having 130 episodes a night and now I am down to 12 or 18. I usually don't breath when I am thinking so when I am falling asleep I will have another 15 episodes which skews the averages so the software is really good for drilling down on my pressure settings.

Thanks Again
