I am skeptical that any of these are really practical and effective. Any experience?

Last night I saw a commercial for mattress pads from the sleep number bed company that permit individual temp control. Sounds like it might work for some and probably expensive.

My issue is that I sleep best when the ROOM is cool but I'm warm in the bed. My husband is always cold in a cool room. He shivers in his flannel footie pjs while I open windows and throw the covers off.

If your spouse is loving i cant imagine this being an issue if you just have an honest conversation about it.

Its easy to put on a sweater or blanket. But a hot blooded person cant do much about it.

The other variable is weight, make sure youre at the correct weight so the spouse cant accuse you of "being fat"
and being hot because of it.

But geez, these issues in marriage are common courtesies. Same as agreeing what kind of bed
to have, what color to paint the den, and what restaurant to eat at.

Its give and take. But to me its just plain pig headed for someone to demand to heat up a room if another
person is hot. PUT ON A SWEATER. Geez.
