I need help getting software that will work with my CPAP machine (listed below this post) and either of my computers. I have a ubuntu-linux laptop and a mac OS (Lion) desktop machine. I do not have a windows machine (I do have virtualbox with windows xp, but I don't use it much and I can't figure out how to mount the SD card in it.)
I guess if I really need to I can find a friend to let me borrow their windows computer. But reviewing the SD card at home would be nicer.
If SleepyHead doesn't work with my machines, is there some other linux or mac software?
Thank you for helping yet another tired soul!
Please help me with software

Re: Please help me with software
It is my understanding that the Sleepyhead for Mac version 0.9.2-2 will work with a series 60 machine fine. This software can be downloaded through the link in Pugsy's profile. I use a Mac with that software but don't currently have series 60 data to test with.

Re: Please help me with software
Reprionics machines...2 choices of software and that's it.
Encore products (Pro, Basic and Viewer)...all are Windows based software and the only way they will work on a non Windows based computer is if there is some sort of virtual Windows set up on the non Windows computer.
SleepyHead ....has a Windows and Mac version...that is easy to install and use.
There have been a few reports of the Mac version and the Patch file thing not working like it should.
Patch file explained here.viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html
For 60 series machines...and Mac computers..you must do the basic Mac (Jimbo's Mac build at sourceforge) plus the patch that is for the Mac machines in the thread. The first post isn't for Macs..it's for Windows users...the Mac Patch is somewhere else in the thread.
Some people have figured out how to do the Linux Ubuntu build thing but I am not sure if it has been updated to work with the 60 series machines just yet. The 60 series machines presented some new challenges.
Mark is working right now on an install for Macs that doesn't require the Patch file but right now the only install that has the Mac Patch included is the 9.3 Beta Windows version of SH.
Your Virtual box with Windows XP....does it have an open USB port anywhere? If so then all you need is a SD card reader/adapter for that computer. One end to plug into the USB port on the computer and the other end to plug the SD card into. Cheap generic $10 from Walmart reader/adapter works fine.
Barring all that...I know of a way where you can send me your SD card contents and I can generate a report for you.
I have done it before. It takes some work on both ends of things but it can be done. We can talk about it later after if you wish.

Re: Please help me with software
OK following Pugsy's link onto page 3 of that thread I found this following link, and this version did in fact work on my Mac with my "60 series" machine:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/thefreemanclan ... pyHead.dmg
Now I have to figure out what I am looking at with all those graphs. I will try to post a screen image tomorrow.
So thanks again to everyone involved.

I have some hints on explanations as to what you see hereNightSky wrote: Now I have to figure out what I am looking at with all those graphs. I will try to post a screen image tomorrow.
understanding your data viewtopic/t88983/Pugsys-PointersSleepyH ... nding.html
I am also going to be updating it with a new example shortly. Something that I recently did that showed some rather markedly significant results. A minor change that made impressive results...and to the good for a change.
Sometimes my changes aren't for the better.
Give me a bit....need to compose it.
