Mask left a blister on nose

Post by sds3ams » Wed May 03, 2006 10:28 am

What should I do? Is it to tight, to loose? My previous mask left a callus between my eyes. Tried the nostril one, and it irritated my left nostril? Help me.

What kind of mask are you using? That might help us come up with an answer for you.

sds3ams,
It could be a blister but I doubt it. I'll bet it is a "zit" from a reaction of your face to the material in the mask. Lots of people have reported the issue including me and the solution for me was to soak the mask for a morning in the same warm soapy water you would use to wash it normally. The longer soaking seems to rid it of some of the chamicals remaining when it is manufactured. You might be able to protect that location on your nose with a bandaid or some of the artificial skin or "mole skin" but I would try the washing first.
