For the month I have used the remstar apap with cflex I have only had one near apnea. Is this common? Wouldn't more near apneas be a good thing as the machine is stopping the apneas. My Oai is between 1 and 4 and in the morning the pressure is so high the mask squeaks. Wondering if I would do better lowering the range?
Why Is my Ner Apnea always 0?

om15, which of these lines in the Encore Pro data are you thinking indicate "near apnea"?
NR (Non-responsive Apnea/Hypopnea)
FL Flow limitation
H (Hypopnea)
OA (Obstructive Apnea)
S (Snore)
No, more events of any kind are not a good thing and are no indication that the machine is stopping apneas.
The thing that indicates the machine is stopping apneas is to see no tick marks along the line in the chart that is labeled OA.
What pressure range have you set for your machine?
What single pressure were you prescribed from your sleep study?
