Enhanced Expiratory Rebreathing Space (EERS)

Anyone currently using this method to help control Complex Sleep Apnea?

Are you using it in conjunction with ASV?

Where did you have your titration done?

I think it's mostly experimental lab stuff at the moment.

It does look like an exciting possibility for central apnea sufferers.

I just hope it doesn't suffer because there's not a lot of profit potential in it.

I’m interested in this treatment because even with ASV my AHI is in the 12-13 range.

Since my first post I’ve visited the sleep center at one of the state universities nearby and the doctors there agreed that there is a possibility that I do have some type of Vocal Chord Dysfunction (VCD) and mentioned that there are possible treatments – including EERS.

Currently they’re starting from scratch (blood work for Vitamin D and Ferritin levels) and an Echocardiogram to determine the current severity of my heart’s enlargement and murmur.

I hope with their help I'll be able to clean up some of these events:
