Remstar APAP w/ C-Flex is on order!

Well I did what I said I would do in my earlier post. I called my DME first thing before the APAP prescription was called in and I inquired on if they had an exclusive Resmed contract or if they could get other machines. I was told they could get me the Remstar by Respronics which I wanted. She did however try the old "I have to order it so it will take at least a week to get" in order to try to push me back to Resmed. Needless to say I told her that it was absolutely no problem to wait after 2 months of other various experiemnts another week was nothing.

She was totally unaware that the REsmed only worked in EITHER EPR, CPAP, or AUTO and C-FLEX can work while in AUTO. So I educated her on the difference. I demanded the Remstar and I am getting it!!!!!! You all have been such a wonderful help. I know that I am not done experimenting yet but at least I know I am getting a machine that I am confident will work for me now!
