Pretty good night... Really good, in fact.

Post by John from Brookston » Wed May 08, 2013 9:20 am

Funny how little things like having a heart attack will take your mind of stuff like hose anxiety...

Posted 6:49 mask time last night, and AHI of 0.4, but 16 minutes in large leak land. Humidifier tank had about a shot glass full left in it... Would have been perfect except for that 47 mg/dl sugar crash at 6...

Tried some different things, I washed the seal instead of waiting till Sunday afternoon, washed my face then wiped it down with a makeup removal wipe augmented witha goodly dollop of Witch Hazel, shaved, then did the usual mask-up/adjust the straps ritual.

Oh, having made my peace with Klonopin helped, too. As long as it's a low dose, they keep making it, and I can afford it, I don't give a rat's ass. It's just one of the 15 other pills I take every day. I got enough fish to fry without worrying about what is basically somebody else's moral issues.

Please keep up with your insulin requirements as OSA is linked with celular insulin resistance.

ie: as your ODS is treated sucessfully, your amount may decrease...gr=et with your internist.

Oh, yeah, I totally agree.
I keep uploading pump data for my endo and telling them about this almost-nightly roller coaster ride into hypoglycemia, but advice is short on coming. Last time I questioned the midnight-6AM basal rate, they said "leave it alone", I cut it back 85% anyway. In fact, most nights I totally suspend pump delivery while I'm asleep. Between the PAP and HRT, I wouldn't be surprised to find that I'm not such a hot candidate for the pump any more...
