When the sleep lab calls you, don't be surprised if they schedule you a few weeks out. If you are able to be flexible, tell them that in the meantime if they get a last minute cancellation they can call you and you'll take it if you can. People flake out on them all the time.

In any case, even after a study there is a week or so to wait for sleep center to send report to your doctor, then waiting for a machine if you get a diagnosis of OSA, so just prepared to do some waiting. My case went quicker than most, and my study was on the 9th of the month and I got the machine on the 25th.
