CPAP alternatives?

Hi folks!
I hate my CPAP and mask. I had finally gotten used to them when I moved and suddenly they made my skin break out in a rash. I tried several creams and moisturizers, but nothing worked. I'm fed-up with them.
I've heard of a mouth piece that holds the lower jaw forward, and is supposed to stop apneas by keeping the airway open that way. Have any of you heard of this treatment? Have any of you used this treatment? Do any of you know of sources of information about this treatment?

Padacheek mask liners are your solution.

Dental appliances are expensive ($2000 - $5000) and not effective unless your OSA is mild and of the kind that can be helped by an appliance plus you will need anther sleep study with the appliance.

doesn't the padacheek thing slide around under the mask??

The padacheek liners are secured around the front of the mask (avoiding the vent holes)
I have cut temporary liners out of soft fabric [shaped like Remzzz's,]

and neither my home made nor any of the others slide around once the mask in in place.
Another company puts a tacky finish on their back surface, but I cannot see how it is needed.

I made 2 changes last night. I changed my mask cushion and installed my new Pad A Cheek.
So I am not positive if it was the new cushion, pad a cheek or the combination but my
leeks just about went to 0. But something strange did hapen I had the strangest dreams
could that be because this was my first might in a while without any large leaks?

Dreams are a good sign, that the treatment is correct. Jim Even strange ones!

As far as XPAP alt's, many here shop at Rural King, they carry a full line of intertubes/ (For Swimming in De-Nile!)

jdm2857, We use the Gold Standard, others seem to want Lead.
