I am thinking that it is probably NOT off limits. In any case, I would be comfortable making that argument as it IS a comfort measure. I will keep these settings for at least a few more nights, then I will think about decreasing it or turning it off altogether and see if there is any difference in my results or my comfort.Pugsy wrote:Is EPR off limits as far as changes?
You can give yourself a little increase in pressure by reducing EPR to 1.
Thanks for your thoughts, Pugsy! I'm learning so much from you!
Edited to add: Funny about all the "rules" we need to follow - some are so silly. I tried to return my oxygen concentrator yesterday as My Doc said "Stop the 02 when you start the CPAP. You won't need it any more." Well, they wouldn't take it back without an order from him. He was out of the office. I said "What if I just take it out of my care and leave it with you?" They said, "Then we'll mark it down that you returned it against medical advice" I said, "You can't just mark it down that the D/C order is pending?" They said, "No." I called my insurance company and asked them, "If I just turn this into them so you don't have to pay for another month's rental, and they mark it down as AMA even if I KNOW my doc wants it stopped, are there any consequences?" They told me that they would decline to pay for the therapy at all due to non-compliance if I let them list it as returned AMA. Sigh. So, they'd rather pay for another month." "But thank you, Ma'am for being so conscientious about trying to keep costs down." Ha! No wonder our insurance premiums keep going up.
