Praises for Pad a Cheek

Post by imsleepynomore » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:08 pm

I have read for several years positive comments about Pad A Cheek products but didn't feel I needed anything. Well things change I changed to a full face mask and noticed marks on my face yea I know mask too tight but any looser I don't dare move . Well Pad A Cheek came through I e-mailed my needs and she guided me to the correct mask liner. Last night I used my mask liner for the first time,Oh what comfortable feeling and my hubby reports no leaks during the night. Quick service and a well made product.

Kenwood doesn't need another mask liner for the FFM which will likely never see the light of day now.. He has found mask nirvana with the nasal pillow masks.
His next experiment with a mask....The Bella Loops for the Swift FX. Which Karen has some really nice comfort items for it also...especially the side strap covers that cover the little pink straps. She also has some nice ear padding if the loop behind the ear is a problem.

For you newbies who might be reading this...
In general Karen at Padacheek has just about every comfort item you might think you need. Lots of time were spent designing them so they are jut right. Very well made products. I got a barrel cozy for my Swift FX back in Feb 2011 and and I am still using it. Looks a bit ugly but still gets the job done.

I am not very handy...no sewing machine...So I just buy from her. It better made..looks better and lasts a lot longer.
an doesn't look like a 5 year old made it (which is what my stuff that I make looks like)

I have made a slight modification to the barrel cozy. I opened the holes a bit and slid i on the TapPap nasal pillows so that I hopefull would eliminate rain out. Last night had a bit run down my cheeks.
Will see how tonight goes.

I have acquired items from Padacheek for every mask I own, and have never been disappointed.

When I was struggling with the Mirage Quattro, I bought the mask liners and anti-leak strap, which really helped with leaks. I also bought the soft, fleecy headgear covers which made the headgear very comfortable, and I was also able to use it with my Mirage FX nasal mask.

When I got my Swift FX, I knew I wanted the barrel cozy as well as her "over the head" fleece covers, which weren't on her website but I heard that she made them to order. VERY comfortable, my best mask to date is also the most comfortable!

I never hesitate to recommend Padacheek products to newbies, even at the risk of sounding like I'm getting a cut. I should remember to say that I am not being compensated for the endorsement. It's a pleasure to be able to recommend quality, good value products to people.

WHen I started CPAP, I needed some kind of chin support. I ended up designing my own. I knew I wanted a cover for it, and knew what I wanted, but my sewing machine is buried in the Chaos Room which we are starting to excavate.

I contacted Karen, and she made a great cover for my "brandy keg."

I have to join in the love here.

Whenever someone in my life is newly diagnosed, I buy them some Padacheek liners as a "welcome to the club" present. I find it makes SUCH a difference in how this therapy feels. No one likes the idea of strapping on medical equipment at night. But cozying into a fuzzy little mask? So much nicer! And I don't even evaluate a mask for fit/comfort until I try it with Karen's liners. A life-saver for me.

I've also repurposed some of her products from one mask to another, depending on my needs. My magical set-up right now is a Mirage Liberty mask with hot pink fleece strap covers, a hybrid mask liner, and a barrel cozy designed for the Swift FX over the nasal pillows of the mask. Hardly any silicone touches my skin, and my leak rate is near zero. I could not possibly be happier.

Thanks Karen! You are an angel!

Karen makes great products and has great service. I can't use the liner, but the strap cover is really comfy.

Another extremely satisfied customer here. I now have three products--a hose cover with zipper, a barrel cozy, and most recently Bella loop covers that eliminate my morning cat whiskers.

Just to add my positive comments here......I too have used Karen at Pad-a-Cheek....she is fantastic. One very impartant fact is: If she doesn't have what you need she will be more than happy to custom make something that will work for you!

Thanks for being there for all of us Karen!

I even showed my Sleep Doctor the Padacheek Mask Liner and Anti-Leak strap. She was VERY impressed and said she would direct her patients to Karen's website. She asked how I discovered something like that....told her from my CPAP Support group website.

Careful, folks.

Give her too much praise and Karen will get a swelled head
which will cause her to make oversized products.

I'm assuming that I can google pad a cheek or look up padacheek.com. That hasn't been made clear and I need to see if I cn find something to help with mask leaks since I have a goatee. My wife and I don't want to get rid of the goatee and I keep it trimmed. Thanks for the recommendations.
