Re: Apologies.
Thanks for the update and I hope everything works out great for you. I've offered free masks and stuff from time to time, plus a few equivalent trades on the awesome 'Pillow Exchange' thread (masks welcome too). I've never been disappointed. It's great that people are willing and able help each other in a material sense on this site.... a rare thing on forums of any kind.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Hopefully someone close to you will at least have a loaner machine you can use.

Re: Apologies.
I am absolutely in awe over the kindness that has been shown to me by members of this forum. It's thanks to that kindness that I'll be back on the hose way sooner than I ever thought possible. The wonderful members of this forum have come together to make sure I'll have a new machine and masks to get me going again. It's not simply the gift of new supplies they've given me (although that is gift enough), but the gift of a good night's sleep amid the stress of putting our lives back together? That's priceless and I can't even begin to find words to convey how grateful I am. So here's a shout out to all my heroes thus far!

Thank you all! <3
And thanks to everyone who offered words of encouragement and prayers. It means so much right now.

Prayers are being sent your way!! My mom was in a house fire when she was a child and it was such a devastating experience for her. Please know we all care and are sending hugs your way.

Re: Apologies.
I would also like to take a moment to thank the unnamed person that was supposed to purchase the machine I'm getting from STMark and opted to wait for the next one so I could have one sooner. I just continue to be amazed by the generosity of this forum. I have people offering to send me masks and extra pillows and hoses. I'll almost have everything I had pre-fire and a better machine. You guys are awesome. ...and my son says thank you too. He's tired of hearing my snoring echo through the house.

Re: Apologies.
Thanks to the awesome people here, I will have everything I need to start back on the hose by Monday at the latest. I'll even have masks and parts that I won't need to worry about replacing any of that for quite awhile. The only thing I will eventually have to get once my feet are back on the ground again is a hose cozy of some sort. I'm dumbfounded and amazed. I can't even begin to thank everyone enough, there just aren't words to express my gratitude properly. I'm so looking forward to sleeping again!

Re: Apologies.
I've got a hose cozy if you want it. It is used, but pretty much like new. PM if you want it, I'll send it in the mail tomorrow.
I'm so sorry for all you went thru, a fire is such a trauma, and I'm glad everyone here is getting together what you need. The most important thing is there was no one lost their life. Since you are all physically OK, you can get new stuff, but if you lose a family member (human or animal) it is a tragedy. I'm really glad you are OK.

CPAPtalk forum is one of a kind.SnoozeyQ wrote:Thanks to the awesome people here, I will have everything I need to start back on the hose by Monday at the latest. I'll even have masks and parts that I won't need to worry about replacing any of that for quite awhile. Susan
You'll never find that level of support on a porn forum: "We're sending a hooker over to your house cuz you haven't gotten any in a long time."
Or a gambling forum: "We're mailing you a big pile of cash to replace that which you lost while internet gambling!"
How about a MJ grower forum: "Dude, sad to hear your pot farm got a weevil infestation; we're sending you a big brick of Blue Hindu Kush in the mail, ASAP".
I think that generosity speaks well about the big hearts of our members. And this isn't the first time I've seen it and I've only been here a year.

Re: Apologies.
I think maybe that third one could potentially happen, depending on how high the rest of them are at the time. Stoners are generally a kind, easy going lot.Sir NoddinOff wrote:CPAPtalk forum is one of a kind.

But in all seriousness, I don't think you'd find this sort of community and generosity of spirit on another CPAP forum either. The next four or so days is going to be like CPAP Christmas around here and it'll sure brighten my weekend.

I'm spending the day at my dad's today helping him with some stuff, but the kid called and told me I had two small packages there today. So anyone that sent masks and supplies that was expecting the package to arrive today it probably did! Tracking says my machine is supposed to arrive tomorrow. OMG, I could be back on the hose as early as tomorrow night thanks to you wonderful bunch of hose heads. <3
