How is the nasal congestion this morning?
That's the bottom line question.
Better....the same....worse?

i never had nasal congestion problems prior to cpap and then i had it constantly after about a month of use. Tried sudafed, nightly nasal rinse with sodium bicarb ( that was nasty), various nasal sprays, some ointment you put inside the nasal passages with cayenne pepper and lemon. played with temperature and humidity. Nothing helped much and then i switched from the swift fx to a full-faced mask and it went away in about a day and i haven't had any problems in months

It has improved a little bit I suppose. I can breath through my left nostril somewhat. My right one is plugged up right now. The right nostril was also bleeding a little bit when I blew my nose this morning.

Are you using the simply saline type of nasal spray often?
Do you normally have any allergy/congestion type of issues this time of year?

From my own past experience with nasal passages that got too dried out...it took about 3 days for things to get back to normal.
If the cpap air is the sole cause of the congestion then it may take you a couple more nights before things are back to normal...and that's assuming your body responds like mine.

Might try a setting of 4 tonight and see how that goes.

At least you are somewhat improved...which points to heading in the right direction.
