Any harm in using too high of a pressure?

Just goes to show us that higher pressures don't always equal centrals.
Be careful if/when you go back down in pressure.
If you are used to higher pressures and make a dramatic drop it can be a bit uncomfortable feeling for a little while.
I had this happen when I experimented with higher pressures. Once I dropped it back down to my normal pressure I felt like I was suffocating for a couple of nights. Took me a little bit to get accustomed to the lower pressures even though 10 wasn't all that low.
I had used higher pressures for more than a couple of nights though.

I love your button idea. Some times the machine is so far from the bed that it is a pain to go push that button they manage to place the farther possible.

You can make the test and let us know the details, that could be very interesting. WOW a button at hand to start and stop the dang thing WOW .

That button should be one of the improvements for the new version.

I'll back down on the pressure the same way I increased it. If the AHI values remain this way, I'll have to keep it higher. I won't use my old 95% value and instead use the "Max" pressure amount. Maybe 14-15cm.

For the remote on/off switch, if I could get a hold of a broken unit or any cheap S9 unit, I will try to mod that. I bought my Autoset out of pocket for around $1K. I'm not going to experiment on it just yet

Modding the Respironic units might be a little more tricky since they have a toggle knob. Hopefully some electronic engineer comes down with OSA and does a remote for their box. A remote screen would also be cool

Having this red button on the head board to turn on/off would be nice.

Oh yeah, he'd LOVE that button. Dang thing's already figured out how to turn my PRS1 on and off! I think he wears the mask when I'm not home

You make too much noise (Ssss Ssss Ssss Ssss that's annoying ) with the machine and you don't let him sleep what else can the poor cat do other than to set Off the machine ?
