Old Remstar LX, how can I change the pressure?

Post by rackalot » Sun Apr 07, 2013 11:06 pm

I have an old resmed remstar lx that I got back in 2000-2001. The only 2 buttons it has is a ramp button and an on/off button. It also has a small hole on the side. Long story short, I need to change the pressure and was wondering if anyone could insruct me on how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your private message box. I sent you a link to the only thing I have. Look in Chapter 4.

Plug unit into wall receptacle

Then simultaneously press the Two User buttons and plug the female end of the AC power cord into the AC outlet in the back of the machine.

Hold the 2 user buttons down (doesn't say how long so be patient) to enter the dealer or clinical mode.

Then press the left user button twice until the pressure display appears.
Press the right user button until "20" appears. Each press of the right user button increments the pressure by 0.5 cm.
Chapter 4.2.4 in the manual that I sent you a link to in the private message..is where this is found.

Thanks for your help! I was able to change my pressure back to where I'm more comfortable.
I recently got an S9 with a humidifier but for some reason I sleep better with my old machine......weird!
