Be sure and get your D3 level checked - read the post of D3 and sleep Also B 12 is very important

I wish you all the best, and hang in...I'm betting it WILL get better.

After some 4 years, even though i haven't yet achieved my ideal, I wouldn't want to be without it.

I'm kind of used to not feeling like I'm choking in my sleep... It's the little things one learns to appreciate as one gets older...

Before CPAP I felt like every night I was going to battle with everything I had. . .and I always woke up EXHAUSTED. I used to tell people that I hated to sleep, that it was harder work than being awake and running a race.

After CPAP - sometimes I feel like I've had a bit of a workout in my sleep, but never feel like I was battling all night long. I took to it right away. There have been some bumps and bruises, but none of them have been battle ax injuries. Nothing mortal. I'm still working on my sleep - and may well have to learn to live with this is as good as it's going to get - but comparatively? It's MUCH better than what it was before.

I actually like cpap. . .

.. . just wish it would behave and put itself on my face when I get into bed. . .and auto fill the humidifier. . .

Me and cpap have a peaceful coexistence relationship. I'd rather not have to use it, but put up with it since it is probably making me more healthy in various ways *smile*. Can't say that I like it, though, but better to have it than not.

So it goes.

I'll be honest, I wish I was "normal," and did not have sleep apnea, and didn't have to use a CPAP. But I CANNOT sleep without it, not even a little nap, I snore myself awake. I get anxiety thinking of things like camping trips, and the logistics of taking my CPAP, or I am not going. Other than that, I guess I am lucky, I sleep pretty well with it, and once I fall asleep, I am out.

I like using my machine, find it comforting because it has me breathing in a regular and relaxed pattern. Before the machine, I was a mouth breather because my nose was perpetually stuffed up. Now, when I wake up in the morning, my nasal passages are clear. I'm breathing properly through my nose.

Apparently the humidity is perfect, and the air is soothing to me to the point that it relaxes me and puts me to sleep rather quickly. I wake up with no brain fog, no headache, and I have tons of energy.

Since using the machine, I've had enough energy to lose 25 pounds and I'm going to continue losing weight until I hit my target weight. I'd use my machine just because of the nasal relief, and the deep restorative sleep and boundless energy I now possess give me a new lease on life. My depression is gone, and I feel as though I can tackle anything that comes my way. Before, I felt powerless and felt as though obstacles were knocking me down and running me over - I just didn't have the energy.

What a difference! I feel 20 years younger.
