I have been trying to get Sleepyhead to work on my XP machine but I get a failure with it not seeing any data on my SD card. I think it recognizes I have a Remstar 560 Apap but when I try to get data I get an error. I have only been using my new Apap for 3 nights.
Would an EnCore program work for me?

Need Encore Basic
Re: Need Encore Basic
What version of SleepyHead are you trying to use...upper left corner...what does it say? It much say version 0.9.3 for it to work with the 60 series machine.bryansong wrote:I have been trying to get Sleepyhead to work on my XP machine but I get a failure with it not seeing any data on my SD card. If it says 0.9.1...you are missing a regular update...right click mouse on the SH icon and choose "run as administrator" and the first update should install....and
then you should see 0.9.2-1
then you need to get the Patch file and replace the old application exe file with the new Patch file
see this thread
viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html
It will need to update again.
Final version should be 0.9.3
And yes, Encore Basic will work with your 560 machine.
Check your PM Box.

Re: Need Encore Basic
I was using ResScan in WINE on my Ubuntu laptop and it worked well. However since changing to Kubuntu 13.04 the Borland database backend won't work. Still trying to find a solution for that.Nooblakahn wrote:Kinda OT. But has anyone tried this ap or resscan on linux with Wine? Wondering if that would work.. I have dual boot win 7 and Ubuntu on the machine I pull my data on. Haven't tried in Ubuntu... as it works just fine in win 7.
