Pillow recommendations?
Pillow recommendations?
I've been looking at Apnea pillows and there's a bunch just on CPAP.com. I'm sure that there are more elsewhere too. Can anyone recommend one and if it's not on CPAP.com can you tell me where to find it? Thanks bunch.

Re: Pillow recommendations?
People's taste in bed pillows varies as much as taste in masks, so I highly recommend a test drive in a store if possible (sans mask), because I'm not sure pillows would be returnable.
I use this guy: http://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Apnea-Pillo ... e+sleepers with another pillow under it to avoid squishing my shoulders.

If you are interested in the Contour pillow... memory-foam pillow with cut outs... certain Walgreens sell them, along with cpap wipes. It must be a Walgreens that sells medical equipment. They are very few of them, but they are out there.

I REALLY like the sobakawa - that's the pillow that is filled up with little round beads, equally good ( same idea) is the japanese pillow filled with buckwheat hulls. I also have an expensive cpap pillow with cutouts for the mask which i don't like at at ( i use it between my knees to help with my hip pain)

Re: Pillow recommendations?
We found several at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that are quite usable.
The Sobakawa is nice, but several others (including my favorite) came off the clearance gondola.
If you have a cart, lay the pillow on top and check it right there.
I need a thinner, soft pillow, but hubby needs a lot of height.
Cut outs are useless to us, but others can't live without them.
BB&B also has satin zipper covers that take it easy on my hair.

Recently, members generously responded to my request for pillow recommendations regarding side sleeping. But even if you are a back sleeper, hopefully, it will still be helpful.

Ah, I just saw this thread. There are a variety of pillows and different people have different opinions about them, but I like the CPAPfit pillow described here. Sleepguy on this forum felt discomfort with other pillows and designed the CPAPfit pillow and having bought it a while ago, I still like it and I've heard from others that they like it, so perhaps you should give it a try.
