Now you know why so many people refer to your DME as Crapria

Only way I can think of is to try the smaller size. Templates aren't perfect and are meant to be used as guides but they are going to be a whole lot closer than eyeballing the size.
You have to deal with Crapria again...they made the mistake and they should fix it.
And now you have an idea why some people say screw 'em and take matters into their own hands.

At this point it may be rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic to ask this question, given your mask issues, but are you getting that reported AHI just from the machine screen display, or have you started delving into the data in more detail?

Once the mask situation is under control there may be useful information in your data. "The gold is in the dark."

Also, when you're able, get your hands on the detailed report from your sleep study (if you don't have it already--in reading back through this thread I see you noted something in your study about a recommendation of nasal pillows?).

How about this lie from the newly re-designed web site: "Apria is dedicated to ensuring that your CPAP equipment is operating properly. Our standard follow-up program begins after your first night using the CPAP. Since your first month using CPAP is the most crucial, Apria provides scheduled follow-ups during this time. And we will continue to provide support at varying intervals for as long as you require a CPAP machine."

As may be obvious, I haven't been contacted once. There's been no follow-up whatsoever.

I am not the long-standing user known by the screen name needzzzzs. Any similarity between the two of us or our screen names is entirely coincidental.

That's cited from the summary sleep report but the result is consistent with what I find on the detailed sleep reports.

I just learned, and verified, that my prescription from the sleep center specified a Mirage Quattro size medium. So Apria may be at fault for failing to subject the prescription to a sanity check but they're not the source of the decision. Their non-existent follow-up is, of course, culpable.

I also learned that the sleep center used a Mirage Quattro size medium during my study. But the study report also mentions mask leaks as a possible source of error.
