Sleep loss is a terrible thing. People get grumpy, short-tempered, etc. That happens here even among the generally friendly. Try not to take it personally.

Some diabetics may become accustomed to feeling a certain way when BG levels are out of range.
The rested feeling from cpap may alter that perception, rendering "feeling" a poor gauge of BG.
Trust the meter, and treat the diabetes separately. Cpap is meant to address the apnea.
It may help with the diabetes, but testing, diet, and activity are still key.
