Some of the old timers used to get real testy about it. Sometimes I just let everyone say what they are going to say and don't even chime in like I did with this one. There were some old timers that would just have told her to "use the search function" and that would be all they would have said.

Ugh. The search function is really bad, though it's probably not its fault. It's more than EVERY post has "ResMed S9 AutoSet clinical menu" in it, so you get a bazillion results, and then after you're seeing double from trying to find the answer to what you're really looking for...you give up and make a new post I think if there were some separate forums, that would help, too. Like perhaps a newbie forum, a cleaning forum, an OT forum, a snide political comments forum, a pick on Cosmo forum, etc.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Works great if you know what you are looking for (sometimes) but I have trouble finding stuff I know I have said. It's kinda like the dictionary...works great if you know how to spell the word but if you knew how to spell the word you wouldn't need the dictionary.

Different sub forums has been tossed around a lot but I know what would happen even if we did have separate place for various questions...people would still post them in the "wrong" place or we would still get off on a tangent like we did here.
I used to be on a computer help forum...no one ever posted in the right forum sub category.

I would be hard pressed to find any thread more than 2 pages long that doesn't go off on to something different. It's what we do best here....keeps things from getting dull that's for sure and when it does we can always pick on Cosmo.

Pugs: I hear you, and sometimes I get frustrated. I must admit something I do. I have my cleaning regiment already type out and saved on a Word document. I think it was Advil that recogmended an oral mask and I seriously pondered trying it. The point I'm making (sorry for being so long-winded) is a great fear of the mask struggle came over me. It scared the heck out of me. It made me remember the issues and fears I had when I started and how this forum helped me conquer it. I also get frustrated by cleaning questions, which is the best mask, "I keep taking my mask off at night". But I remember that fear I had, then I cut and paste and move on. I have notice more fighting going on and I am surprised by the name calling. But we get a new batch and folks like the Admiral, and that keeps me going. What are we going to do when Rush Limbaugh goes away and what will we do when you also go away?

I do too. I have worked in a deli department for 23 years. I am so used to wearing gloves when handling food that it feels really odd NOT to wear gloves while working with food. So, I wear gloves any time I handle raw meat, or anything messy. I have a store in my area called Cash N Carry which is a restaurant supply store, and I get my gloves there.
