Now I see detailed reports after I told the Encore Basic to create reports as a preference for start up. It shows an average AHI of 5.3 for 29 days of usage. Is that good or is AHI more complicated to answer on one measurement?

If you told me the AHI was 3.0 then I would be happy with the one measurement.
We like to see the AHI less than 5.0.
At 5.3 you are probably okay especially if a couple of those were clear airway event indexes.
I prefer to evaluate the 3 indexes separately unless the total AHI is quite low already.
