Some of my highest ZQ's were when I was sick, using natural "cat style" healing.
(curl up, conk out, sleep as long as possible; wake up feeling much better--look for milk to drink.)

Oh gosh. I love milk but can't do it while im sick, due to the "build up" it causes. I can imagine sick sleep being some serious sleep.

Noob, remember it's not a PSG and higher scores aren't necessarily better and you might have to be awake more than 2 minutes before it is scored as an awake. See here how samples are averaged and scored:

Thanks Jay. That helps, I had tried to find an explanation on how this reports. I had heard every 5 minutes, and every 30 seconds. This is great and does help it make more sense.

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

The ZQ score is pretty useless, if you ask me. I don't think there's much science behind their formula, and the Zeo folks seem to be completely unaware that bifurcated sleep may be both natural and healthy. If you take the sensor off for two hours the Zeo starts a new "night", and both Zeo nights may score low even though you slept extremely well and got 9 or 10 hours altogether.

Look instead at sleep architecture. Do you enter REM about every 1 1/2 to 2 hours? Does your REM go on for a while does it seem to be cut off? Do you have most of your deep sleep before most of your REM sleep? How much REM did you get? And how much deep sleep did you get?

Not sure if it matters, just looking for insight from you folks that have used this longer than i have.
The thing the Zeo isn't very good at is differentiating between REM and waking states. I find that it works better if the sensor is closer to my eyes, but if I slide it down too far, it causes unpleasant sinus pressure. Hence I keep it in the center of my forehead, with the bottom of the sensor just under two finger widths above my eyebrows. IIRC, this jibes with the pictures Zeo provides, though I think those shots were more about how all the good looking folk use Zeo than where to place the sensor.

Do the wakings in your Zeo data line up with anything in your CPAP data? Also, do you have chronic pain that might be disturbing your sleep?

I'm suspicious of the awakenings where you go from REM to wake and back again several times without any light sleep. This could indicate apneic events disturbing your REM, but it also could mean the Zeo can't tell if you're in REM or awake. Whether or not that indicates a problem with the Zeo or a problem with your sleep is another question.

Ouch. Are those for real?
When I tried the Zeo even I didn't have that many wake ups with my non OSA related issues.

Yeah, I've noticed that on the Rem vs Wake states... glad its not just me. I tried to find info on proper placement of the device on the forehead as well, but as you said, other than sleep data the device sends, there is not much useful info on the site. I'll try moving it closer to my eyebrows for a few nights, to see if that helps.

At least with the data it collected and the info I filled out, Zeo coach recommended I see a dr about my sleep... which of course, i have already done.

Did it tell you that you may have a severe sleep disorder?

Yeah, I think it said something along those lines... I can't really find it now. I ended up deleting all my data trying to clear one day that uploaded twice. I now have nothing else I can select to delete.. but still show the one day that was uploaded on the wrong date. Not terribly impressed with this product or its site.

Yes, they are real charts. I am very suspicious about the awake time. I do awaken a few times every night that I remember, but I can't believe THAT much. I will try some different sensor placements. Thanx.
