My sleep doc recently increased my pressure from 7 to 9. I feel better using the higher pressure with the Flexfit 405 nasal mask. However, with the Swift mask at a pressure of 9 the air is too cold even though I am using the heated hose and I cannot tolerate it. I am using the Respironics Pro w/cflex cpap machine.
I have wanted to get an auto cpap machine like many of you to monitor the results - preferably the Respironics Auto w/cflex. Would I be able to use an auto cpap in view of the above situation?
Would Auto Pap Work For Me?

Of course!
But at this point if you already bought the Pro it's going to be hard to convince a doc and the insurance company to by an auto. If you are going to buy it yourself, go ahead. It may not give you a lot of relief now, but you will be sure the pressure you are getting is just what you need.
Monitoring your results is always a good thing in my book.
