This has been discussed but like to get most recent updates as airlines are being more restrictive for in-flight use. Cathay Pacific for one now requires using a battery and cannot use the plane's power. Prefer not to have to buy and lug around a 3 lb battery pak.
Appreciate if you'd share your good and bad in the past 12 months flying across the Pacific?

You were never supposed to use the planes power anyway. They are just enforcing it now.dtsm wrote:This has been discussed but like to get most recent updates as airlines are being more restrictive for in-flight use. BS is correct. That has never been part of the deal, but often ignored.
I sleep pretty good on flights without CPAP. I have the seatback reclined about 1/3 and NO pillow. Pillows tend to close the airway...at least for me. Sure, it's not as restful as being home in bed, but what flight is?

Update...I had to make last minute change of airlines when flying home from Bangkok. Have been flying Eva Air because they permit cpap in-flight without any hassle. This time routed by via Cathay Pacific and HK to JFK, biz class. After dinner service, when lights dimmed, unpacked and set up my S8 AutoSet and slept for 7 hrs without any issue re using their power outlet.
