Camping

When camping in the cold weather, my tube fills with water. Does anyone have any way to stop this?

Try to insulate your hose with wool fabric, microfiber fabric, or some flexible foam material.

If you are using a heated humidifier, don't use the heated water and try passive humidification.

If you're using passive humidification, try without any humidification.

I have a friend that camps...his solution to this problem is to use the foam insulation that goes around water pipes in the basement. They come in 8' lengths and only cost a couple dollars. The foam is not real flexable so it may not work for some people . He cuts the foam into 6-8" lengths to get flexability.

My wife has a medical condition that requires the room to be set at 60-62 while sleeping. I started to have the same issue, so I try to bring the hose under the covers next to my body and it has not happened since. I'm hoping to get a machine with a heated hose next week. What if you used an 8' hose while camping and brought the hose in through the bottom of the sleeping bag using your body to keep is warm?
Keep us posted, I've been thinking about the same issue.

Also a great idea!

Just don't fart if you put your machine inside down at the bottom of your sleeping bag

Also, try to position the machine lower than you and the mask!

I would be careful with that option if you are not using a humidifier to catch any rainout from entering your machine.

How do you not fart with a CPAP?

Is that always a bad effect?

You don't "not fart". It happens a lot. So what?

You could try connecting an exhaust hose out of the sleeping bag.
