CPAP furniture - thinking future

Because we live in an antebellum home, we are furnishing our house in the Mission Style - mainly because it's a LOT more functional and comfortable than the original furniture that was in the house.

I showed my husband what I wanted:



And how I want it to function. The nightstand will be tall enough to match the height of our bed. (I have to take a running jump to get into it.) The top drawer of the nightstand will slide out instead of to the side. The bottom cabinet will house the uninterpretable power supply and the gallon of water. The tall book cabinet will have another slide out drawer for the cpap dryer, and will have one a drawer for cpap supplies one for the hose and mask. The top will be a bookshelf for the books I read in the evening. The "Pie" tin (found in pie cooling cabinets) common in the era when this house will be used instead of glass.

My husband will have the same on his side, but the nightstand and cabinet will be the original design.

Heh. . .and I just remembered that the size and shape of cpap machines have certainly changed over the years. . . guess there will be lots of room for change. . . built in.
