Deer Antler Pills for Sleep?

Post by Samaniego » Wed Jan 30, 2013 7:54 am

I saw this on Ray Lewis and was talked about by friends. They say it is sleep better.

Do you know can this help with sleep?

I found in some Wikipedia it says "Deer velvet antler ingredients are precursors to substances used by the body for a wide variety of health remedy and health maintenance purposes. Velvet antler is said to be effective as an anti-inflammatory, anticancer, immune stimulant, and progrowth agent. Modern scientific research indicates deer velvet antler may improve general health, increase blood circulation, reduce blood pressure, increase energy and endurance, increase muscle development, improve joint health, increase muscle recovery, and improve sexual health.[3] Almost 250 papers have been published since 1930, by Russia, Korea, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, on the manufacture, composition and biochemical effect of deer velvet antler.[4]" Copming from this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velvet_antler

It mentions not sleep but Chinese say it is big help for sleep.

Do you know? Do you use?

It is the velvet from antlers.

I got deer antler velvet (and a lot more) all over the front end of my car at 75 mph. I could not sleep for six weeks after.

From what I hear, Antler pills cost $1+ a dose. Mountain oysters, on the other hand, are still under a buck
When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI

It would be interesting to know what the 400 active ingredients are.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

It is indeed tragic if anyone at all believes that flim-flam; and I am sorry for making light of it.

Oh, deer, do feel sorry for anyone gullible to buy that kind of snake oil.

Joking is OK for me. Good way to learn.

I asked American friend (New Jersey) aobout "under a buck". He laughed very long. Then he explain and I laugh too.

About sleep with antler pills maybe not? But Wikipedia has "Velvet antler is a mainstay of traditional Chinese medicine, probably second only to ginseng in importance."

This is big market. Chinese famous for success with different types of medicine different from Western Hemisphere medicine.

But maybe Chinese not look so healthy except ones immigration to United States. I take no ginseng. Do you?

I don't understand how putting pills on a deer's antler will help them sleep better

Hey everyone, take all the deer velvet pills your want, Chinese medicine or whatever. Just stay away from rhinoceros's horn or I will have to do some harvesting myself and subsequently rope you to the hood of my Jeep Wrangler. (metaphorically speaking, of course).

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Well, the Chinese have a lot of faith in their medicine, and I, myself have had luck with acupunture, Chinese herbs, etc. However, whenever something like this makes the headlines, and becomes the latest fad for health, I become suspicious. Talk to an expert in Chinese medicine to find out the proper dosage, usage, and cost of a legitimate medication.
