avi123 wrote:Mark, any chances that you could do for Windows 7 & 8 users:

1) get rid of the lower Pressure trace for APAPs. That of the max pressure less the EPR setup pressure. Also, if an S9 Autoset runs in CPAP mode then the Pressure trace is shown as a straight line on the bottom. Why?
2) omit the Mask Pressure graph b/c most XPAP users don't have this pressure.
3) suggest how to attach Pulse Oximeter (50 F is OK) output data (Desat and Heart Rate) to SleepyHead and be synchronised with the graphs.

p.s. Greetings from Image and Taringa542, from Bundaberg.

I'll have a look into that stuff.. ResMed loader hasn't received enough love lately. EDIT: (well, nothing has "lately", but you know what I mean)
You can turn graphs off with that widget down the bottom.

I'm starting to figure out how to make some screencast tutorials.. Also learning how to do animations in blender... Hopefully I can put the two together for some short howto sequences on how to work the oximetry.. Oximetry is another section that hasn't had enough love. I've gotta get the code working properly before I do anything fancy..

Yay.. Locals!
Not so much yay for Mal the "foot"ball guy... "foot"balls are supposed to be round and interact with the foot.

Some of us have paid him something. (Hint-hint)

Unfortunately, I suspect the pay is pretty low, like it is for most "donation supported" software.

It will require a fresh install of the next SleepyHead build for that to be able to work in future.
Welcome back! A new build of SleepyHead for Win 7 would be AWESOME! I only use it very briefly each morning (well, almost!). If I see a low number on my stats page, I know I can get on with the rest of my day. If it is significantly higher than usual, I know I have to do a bit more research. However, with an "all time" (1057 nights) AHI of 1.65, which is down to 1.23 for the last 365 nights, I don't think I have too much to worry about

I'm going to work (HA! I'M not, but my DH is) on uploading my CMS50E data to Sleepyhead - I believe that's possible, yes?

Will my back up F&P Icon work with Sleepyhead yet?

Thanks so much - and it's great to see you back here.

Cheers,

From what I remember the CMS50F has the same data format as the E, so soon hopefully

F&P icon will give basic info, but I can't get the flow charts to behave. It's a little hard with no information whatsoever provided by the manufacturer.
Thanks, Mark!!

Didn't notice before you're also an Aussie - and right in the middle of 'rum' country. Hope you're staying cool in the wicked heat over there.

Mark I love Sleepyhead thank you so very much!!

Yes.

Unfortunately it required pruning some data stored in the ResMed summary system.
This only affects older data, and times when you leave your SDcard out by accident.

Resmed unfortunately didn't do a good job of designing how they stored summary data (making it impossible for me to do a good job working with summary data )

There is still a few display glitches that need sorting out, so the next release will probably focus on Philips Respironics 60 series users (meaning expect a few minor glitches on ResMed still, but that double up madness should be dead and buried)

You may need to start fresh on ResMed to get rid of that stinking double up issue. (I honestly can't remember as I fixed that code a long time ago)
Welcome back Mark! I still have the double up issue with my Resmed S9 Autoset as well and have to go in daily and turn off the duplicate sessions that pop up for sessions a month in the past. So, you're saying the upcoming new release will take care of that but I may have to purge all of the old data and start over? As you may recall, I'm not real hi tech and have a ResScan question to ask you as I don't know where else to go. For some reason on the ResScan software, I have a bug where my Summary graphs sporadically will show maximum leak rates of either 22.8 to 24.0 even though the ResScan detail graphs show zero or significantly lower leak results. The Sleepyhead software captures and graphs the correct leak rates on both the detail and summary graphs. Any ideas on why the ResScan summary graphs are doing this and what I might try doing to correct this? Appreciate any help you might be able to provide and once again, welcome back!!!

Just keep working on it and let us know if you need more Icon data. I can only give you CPAP mode data, but then again it might be easier to start with basic data.

Remember that even without flow data, SleepyHead is still better than the F&P software. Just add it to the Windows and Linux builds as is so other users can enjoy what you have provided to me!

Krisasman - I can't even get the Icon software to work at all! I bought the machine from a member here and he sent me the software CD but registering the SW is more than I can tolerate - am letting DH wrestle with that for now. Bought this machine because a) it's an APAP, b) I needed a compact machine with humidifier to fit in the 'shelf' space next to my bed in our camper. Can't wait for it to work with Sleepyhead!!

Cheers,
xena

Mark, just wanted to illustrate this which I mentioned above. It's possible that you have already fixed it:

S9 Autoset in APAP mode. No need for the lower Pressure trace. It's just confusing:

S9 Autoset in CPAP mode. The Pressure trace is dead in the water:

pss, it would be nice if you print the measuring units on each graph's vertical axis. Then we would not need to massage over it, or go to Glossary.

Hi Mark, so good to see you again! You're going to be swamped with questions and here's one of mine! I just switched from S9 Autoset to S9 Vpap Auto. It's set on auto 14/10 -PS=3. The top of the page above the piechart shows the settings as BiLevel, 13/9-PS=3. The Statistics below shows the correct settings and the graphs do also. It's not really a problem for me, just curious if you or someone knows how to correct it? I use both Resmed and SH and both give me all the info I need. Thanks so much!

Mark,

I am new to the *PAP world and found you SW on a Goggle Search. I have SH installed but must have too new of a system as it can not read my data. Will your next version support the PR BiPAP S/T C-Series file format?

Thanks for contributing to Open Source.

The software from F&P is clearly designed with a clinic in mind. There is a 'Server' portion that installs a SQL lite server and then a 'Client' portion. I found the copy I got would not even work with Windows 7, I had to install a Windows XP virtual machine to get it to work. If you can get a Mac, SleepyHead supports the Icon now! If not, hopefully they will enable the existing code in the new builds.
