Hose hangers, hose covers, cpap pillow - my setup

Post by cosmo » Sat Jan 12, 2013 8:54 pm

Just posting my setup.

Hozer Hose holder. It can flex.

Cheap hose holder. It still gets the job done.

The ResMed blue zipper cover is for non slimline hoses.

cpap.com does not sell ResMed's standard diameter hose cover. It is shown on a standard diameter tubing (22mm). Skip the SnuggleHose Cover as they have no zippers and shed lint.

Hozer Hose holder is expensive but worth it. It can bend like dome tent poles.

The cheap hose holder was purchased for travel/backup and cost $10-11.

Damn!!!! your hose cover is much cooler looking than my hose cover - I now have a bad case of hose cover envy. I have the same cpap pillow but i don't like it, i much more prefer the sobakawa ( sp?) bed bath and beyond pillow that is full of all the little beads. The german shepherd however likes the cpap pillow though as his big nose fits perfectly in the cut out.

Do you live in north Alaska or north Calif. that you need all the insulation?

Your system should be prone to the danger of filling your mask and lungs with the condensation
collected in the vertical leg from the hi point at the hanging of the air hose to the mask. Even with no humidifier.

Hose cover is for noise insulation. I didn't like the noise of the hose hitting the headboard. Its easy to get on and off with the zippers

The Mirage Quattro is not my everyday mask and I don't think I've seen condensation ever in my setup.

Hey Cosmo, from one astronaut to another, I must admit to a bit of hose cover envy myself.
That's one sexy looking rig comrade! Rock on!

My headboard is similar to yours, and I run the hose out the back of the S9, back & over the headboard which supports the hose into the North American $11 hose hanger. My husband has his hose just go into this same type of hanger. I like this hanger so much that I have an extra for travel.
