I too have trouble staying asleep. Not surprisingly, a very long outside walk yesterday probably did more to help me stay asleep than any OTC remedy. Now if I could just get everything working right (sleeping during the right hours with 100% cpap usage with few wakeups), I would be in business.Java wrote:I have trouble staying asleep. I wake up every 2-3 hours. I have been this way for 9 years. I was hoping CPAP would fix that but it has been 4 months and I still have the fragmented sleep and frequent wakings. The product claims "Somnapure is the safe and effective natural sleep aid that will help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling refreshed." Well who doesn't want that!?49er wrote: Hi Java,
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Your caution in starting slowly is warranted as many times, the starting dose is too much for alot of people.
I think with OTC sleep meds, it hard to say as to why it didn't work for you since insomnia is such a complex issue. In your case, do you have trouble with falling asleep, staying asleep, or both? What is this product supposed to allegedly do?
And even if you took the full dose, I am not sure that is a guarantee it would work as I really doubt the effectiveness of many of these supplements long term. Still, I am always tempted to try one every now and then.
