I'm very happy that your test results are negative. I hope the humidity will help you with the problem.

My allergies Dr prescribe once to me Rihnaris spray (this is to humidify the sinuses) because my sinuses became swollen and very irritated in winter time because of dryness. This is very good for it and it appeased the burning pain on my sinuses. This was before using CPAP.

Everyone has some great suggestions. The flu was going around my home and I was wondering what in the world I would do if I was congested.
I sometimes get sore because of a lack of humidity or allergies etc. I have a script for rhinecort which Is a nasal spray and is an anti inflammatory. It works really well and relieves the pain so I can use the cpap. If you go to the doctor I would ask him about it.

i don't know if it's the vegan diet, my high intake of fruits and vegetables or it's just a coincidence but I haven't had a cold or flu since becoming a vegan over 30 years ago ( before they really had the term vegan as far as i knew - i considered myself a vegetarian who didn't eat eggs or dairy ( i never liked eggs or dairy)

sometime i feel the beginnings of a cold about to come on, but it never quite catches
