Hello,
I have had some concerns about my flow limitation rate. I have many nights like the one below where I only have a few events but the flow limitation rate is all over the place.
So I decided to raise my top pressure to 11cm. The data below is from last night. While the flow limitation rate is much better, I woke up with a start and nearly jumped out of bed. I thought I saw something the size of a baseball the sitting on my mask.I threw the mask off and fell back to sleep. In the morning my husband asked if he was waking me up at night because he noticed I had woken up several times. I’ve had similar episodes where I’ve nearly jumped out of bed (and frightened my husband half to death) but that was pre cpap. Could there be something other than OSA going on?
Take Care,
G

Is it possible you saw a loop in your hose, and didn't recognize it because you were half-awake?
I get stuff like that sometimes. Not a hallucination, but a sleepy surprise--just not a good one.

It could have been the hose...I have a dark green hose cover. Here's to good sleepy surprises in 2013!
