Cpap Newbie, Noise is a big issue-

I have an air cleaner running in the background while I sleep that effectively masks the noise of my CPAP equipment. Of course this machine makes a noise of its own, but I find its constant drone a lot more easy to deal with than the intermittent sound of the CPAP. You can also opt for a white noise machine. I use the MARPAC White Noise machine when I travel; you can find it on Amazon. What I like about it is that it actually generates white noise, as opposed to just playing a recording of it. It's also "tunable" so that you can change the pitch of the sound it generates.
