For Sale: ResMed VPAP Adapt SV ZERO Hours

Post by Speedy979 » Sun Dec 09, 2012 2:41 pm

For sale: One ZERO HOUR ResMed VPAP Adapt SV machine.

Includes:

1. ResMed VPAP Adapt SV -- Zero Hours
2. Power cable
3. H2i Heated Humidifier
4. Two medium Mirage Quattro masks
4. Manuals
5 Sensor tubing plus a lot of clamps and filters along with travel bag.

The only thing this doesn't have is the mask tubing but I believe one can be picked up for about $40. I will see if I can locate one and will include it for the sale price. This is a steal at $650 as the Adapt SV runs for over $6000 new. Will ship free anywhere in the continental US. I have this listed on craigslist if you want to see pics:

Thanks,

Mark

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Unfortunately, I live in Boise, Idaho. Do you know anybody that lives here? I have a cousin that lives in Palo Alto that I could ship it to. I've sent you a PM. Please give me a call.

Thanks,

Mark

Just as a note .. the therapy data can be downloaded via serial port to ResScan. If needed I can provide pointers to a serial to USB adapter and a null modem cable needed to read the data onto a Windows computer.

Also, just as an FYI .. SleepyHead does not read the data from this unit.

Thanks John for the data retrieval info for this machine (should I eventually purchase it). It would have taken me ages to figure that out - and I even know what a null modem is

Hi Mark,

A word of caution --

In your original post, you provided this URL:

http://boise.craigslist.org/hab/3466868231.html

On that craigslist posting, you have a picture of the VPAP Adapt SV. If you look closely at the face of the VPAP, it is NOT an ENHANCED unit. I don't know if ALL "non-enhanced" Adapt SVs are NOT data capable; however, the one I owned was NOT. I have owned four or five Adapt SV Enhanced units and they were all data capable.

If you know for sure that the data can be downloaded, it would probably be helpful to potential purchasers.

Thank you for catching that ... I had not noticed that distinction. (Poor eyesight has it's drawbacks!) .. Sounds as if you won't be able to get therapy data from this unit. Sorry for not catching it earlier.

Man, it's amazing you two guys (GrandPap and John Fisher) know all this stuff I'll bet there are only a couple of dozen sleep doctors in the whole USA who would be sharp enough to spot that peculiar difference . This just proves what a cool resource CPAPtalk is. Tho, maybe that isn't seller's opinion? Whom, BTW I'm sure is innocent - mostly cuz he just doesn't seem like a manipulator.

Sir,

I think you're absolutely correct! I certainly hope that Mark does NOT think that my post implied that. If my first Adapt SV had been the "non-enhanced" model, I probably would have thought it was data capable and might well have sold it as such. My first Adapt was an Enhanced and I was able to download the data. When I got the non-enhanced model, I tried to download the data and there was not. I'm still not positive that ALL non-enhanced model are not data capable. I just know that mine wasn't.

I'm confident that Mark was acting in good faith and the purpose for my post was just to raise the question for him.
